The Steingard Medical Group wishes to thank you for choosing us to be your doctors. Our group consists of Scott Steingard,D.O., Milissa Cooper, D.O., Jason Turner, M.D., and Tiffany Tapia, PA-C. The following policies have been put into effect in order to ensure the best possible patient experience. If your address, phone number or insurance information changes, please contact us as soon as you can so that we can update our records for reaching you in the future.

Patient Information

Appointments:

Phones are answered from 7:30am to 12:00pm then 1:30pm to 5:00pm. We note and return all phone messages in a timely manner. Phone calls are taken in order in which they are received.

Referrals:

If your insurance requires a referral, please call your specialist and then notify us by calling (602) 336-1966 EXT: 204. Please speak clearly and slowly when leaving a message for our staff. In your message, please include the doctor’s name and phone number and the date of your appointment. Please allow 10 working days for the referral to be processed.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel an appointment, do your best to give us at least a 24-hour notice so that we may give that time to another patient. Please try and reach an operator if you need to cancel so that we can promptly adjust our schedule and find another time that better works for you. A fee of $20.00 will be charged for no show appointments.

Telephone messages:

If leaving a message, please speak slowly and clearly, spell out your name, state your date of birth as well as your phone number with area code. Please include the reason for your call.

Prescriptions:

All messages and prescription refills will be attended to as soon as we can, and we will do our best to get back to you no later than 48 hours after we receive your message. Please call your pharmacy for refills so that they can contact us in a timely manner.
