Scott Steingard, D.O. Board Certified
Dr. Scott Steingard is one of Arizona’s leading Family Practice and Sports Medicine physicians. After graduating from University of Arizona, Dr. Steingard attended the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Steingard has been practicing medicine in Arizona since 1988. Dr. Steingard has worked with various sports organizations including the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Roadrunners as a team physician and an Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment Consultant.
In addition, Dr.Steingard also works as the Medical Liaison for the Insight and Fiesta Bowls. Dr. Steingard is passionately involved in political and charitable efforts including being a founding member of TOPS (Team of Physicians for Students), a non-profit organization that provides sports physicals and cardiac screenings to student athletes at no cost. Dr. Steingard has been recognized as Volunteer of the Year from the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association. In 1999 he was appointed by Governor Janet Napolitano to the Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners and is currently the president of the Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners.
Milissa Cooper, D.O. Board Certified
Dr. Cooper has been a family medicine physician practicing in Arizona since 1995. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992 and completed her residency as Chief Resident in Philadelphia in 1995. Dr. Cooper is a founding member of TOPS and has served as board member of multiple hospitals and insurance committees. She is involved in research as a principle investigator with Hope Research. Dr. Cooper is the president of Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association district 2 as well as a member of the AOMA House of Delegates.
Jason Turner, M.D. Board Certified
Dr. Turner attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine graduating in 1999. Dr Turner completed his residency at the Scottsdale Healthcare Family Practice Residency Program and received multiple awards for Outstanding Resident. Dr. Turner joined Steingard Medical Group in 2002. Dr. Turner has been the team physician for Cortez High School football team since 2002 and is an active volunteer for TOPS. In addition, Dr. Turner is on the Board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Network, a group that focuses on Down syndrome advocacy, awareness and education.
Tiffany Tapia, PA-C. Board Certified
Ms. Tapia has been with Steingard Medical Group since 2004 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University and Midwestern University, where she received her Master of Medical Science degree. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants. Tiffany is an active volunteer with the TOPS program and coordinator for the Maricopa Community Colleges. She has served as a medical provider for Phoenix College. Tiffany is an investigator for Hope Research and has been involved in clinical studies with pharmaceutical companies as well.
